Service Description

A four-part heels conditioning series with Emily Laura Build strength, develop control and understand the mechanics behind dancing in heels. Across four focused, one-hour sessions, we'll explore how different areas of the body work together to support stronger, more controlled movement. From core and pelvic floor coordination to foot and ankle strength, upper-body conditioning and lower-body power, each session builds on the last to develop a more connected approach to training for heels. We'll begin with Core Control, exploring how to coordinate the pelvic floor and core effectively to support stability and control. Next, we'll work from the toes up in Legs, Feet & Ankles, developing the strength, articulation and power needed for precise movement. In Upper Body, we'll explore strength and weight distribution between the upper body, core and lower body, building the capacity to support and control your movement. We'll finish with a further deep dive into lower-body conditioning, bringing everything together through more focused work on strength, stability and control. These sessions go beyond simply building strength. You'll develop a better understanding of how your body works, how different areas contribute to movement, and how to apply that knowledge to your heels practice. Expect a combination of barefoot and in-heels training, with and without the pole, to help you connect your conditioning to the demands of dancing in heels. What's included - Four specialist, one-hour online sessions - A progressive approach to conditioning for heels - Training both barefoot and in heels, with and without the pole - Recordings available to rewatch for six weeks Equipment: your pole heels, a pole, yoga blocks, a long looped resistance band, a mini looped resistance band.
